…that most fuckbois also think it’s about being as aggressive as possible. But, as with the getting their way part, that’s just not true. A proper Dom is never aggressive (except for maybe in bed and only with his sub’s consent) but rather assertive. There’s a difference. A Dom is supposed to be in control; not of just the situation and his sub, but himself as well. An aggressive Dom has no self control and therefore no business whatsoever being part of the life. What do you think?

I don’t want to spend too much time decoding the nature of “aggression”, but you seem to equate it with a lack of control. Given that controlled expressions of aggression surround us in the everyday world, I can’t co-sign the equivalence.
With that said, I’m all-in on the “empowered, domineering people shouldn’t react to conflict like a squealing piglet’s first taste of an electric fence” side of your argument.
