I don’t know Freud well enough to agree or disagree with him.
But as for the stated position? I feel like the idea that most trauma is sexual in nature is a rather privileged one… war and want co-exist with the wanton, and probably do more than their share of psychic damage.
So a lot? Sure. Most? No.
