I’ve noticed on other blogs that some doms tend to capitalize their own personal pronouns: like they’ll say “I always keep My property in good condition” or “She is loyal to only Me”. Is there a reason behind that and is there a reason you don’t?

It’s just an affectation that some people enjoy, and often work into their dynamic… it can be a context cue, it can model desired behavior for the sub, and so on. Sometimes it’s just masturbatory, which, I mean… what isn’t?
My lack of participation stems from two things:
- As a kid, my view of the Capitalization King phenomenon was less sanguine. My kinky role models all looked askance at that stuff, so I considered it cringey and never even toyed with the idea.
- I’m not here to deify myself. That’s their fucking job.
