Pride tells you that your tastes matter. Pride tells you that you deserve satisfaction. Pride tells you to expect to be treated like a normal girl. Pride tells you to resist rather than obey. Pride tells you to stand when you should kneel.
Girls who listen to pride are often impressive, successful people.
But they’re not mine.
Pick your priorities. Make your sacrifices. In this, as in all of life.
