I’ve addressed the “how many” lots of times, and the answer is always “somewhere between a few and a lot”.
I write about the girls who inspire me. Sometimes that’s someone I’m intimately involved with… sometimes it’s a girl I barely know.
With that said, the fastest way to go from “someone I barely know” to “someone I own” is to become a muse. And if someone I’m with never inspires my writing, she probably won’t be with me long.
