Giving up is quitting within sight of the starting gate. Giving up is fleeing the stage before the judge has spoken. Giving up is accepting the lie that says you cannot be a little better every day. Giving up is pretending to know tomorrow, when you know nothing at all.
Fuck giving up. We don’t talk that kind of shit in this house, young lady. You owe the best version of yourself to someone, even if you haven’t yet found them.
Don’t forget that good girls carry on until they find their way home, and only then do they fall to their knees.
