Questions and Answers

I am so pissed at Tumblr. No delete button should ever trigger an immediate delete, especially when the delete and edit buttons are twenty pixels apart.

Anyway… I just deleted an answered ask that went something like this:

Anon: “Would you ever be involved with a person with autism lol”

(Yes, “lol”.)

I don’t know enough about how folks are interpreting that diagnosis these days to have a definitive opinion… a broad array of people seem to live under one umbrella. With that said:

  1. An ability to accurately —or at least entertainingly— interpret complex emotional cues —or at least to eroticize and romanticize abject and endless confusion— is a baseline requirement.
  2. I speak in metaphors. I couch hurtful thoughts inside glowing praise, and vice versa. I am seldom of one mind about anything. With that said, my gut says that anyone who scrolls the blog for more than a few days and struggles with uncertainty will self-select herself out of my audience.
  3. I require some degree of articulate emotional expression. Now obviously, I don’t have lofty expectations in this area… but “I don’t know” is only an acceptable response to an inquiry about a cunt’s internal state of affairs if it is immediately followed by “I’m sorry” and a persistent effort to resolve a meaningful answer.
  4. Beyond that, the central admonition stands for all: make my life better, or make yourself scarce.
