How did you discover that you are a sadist?

When I was in fourth grade, I made all the neighborhood kids gather in the covered space behind my dad’s garage and played “teacher”, which involved me quizzing them from my textbooks and whipping everyone with a yardstick when they inevitably failed to answer my questions.
Of course, the most sadistic part was convincing a bunch of grade school kids to attend school twice in one day.
