Do you have age preferences?
(submitted by: Anonymous)
It’s not a preference, but girls in their twenties and thirties seem to do the best. In practice, I’m not fixated on age as much as capability.
- Can she successfully parse my sentences and act on my advice or instructions? I don’t mind if a girl is situationally stupid, but her communication skills need to be strong-ish.
- Does she control —to an obviously tenuous extent— her own life? Can she travel freely? Is she self-sufficient? Are her choices her own? (The answers all need to be “yes” until I decide to make them “no”.)
- Is she unencumbered? Thou shalt have no other gods —nor anything else— before me. Despite a normal life full of responsibilities and obligations, she should be able to make me her top priority.
- Do I like looking at her? If not, is she at a place in her life where she can do something about that? The gym demands free time. Eating right demands the use of a kitchen and the freedom to shop for your needs. Cosmetic modifications are expensive and scary. None of it is easy.
- Has she lived enough to understand everything that she’ll receive, and everything that will be taken away? I’ll inevitably become her entire world, but I refuse to be one of her regrets.
A girl doesn’t have to be a certain age to tick those boxes, but she should be at a stage in her life that can accommodate my needs.
