What are your feelings about online D/s or DDlg relationships? Do you feel that there can be any real meaning without the physical aspect of the relationship?

Almost all my relationships since 1993 began online before becoming physical… and I can assure you, there was plenty of meaning in them. But then, that’s exactly why things couldn’t stay online… it all meant too much to stop there.
That doesn’t mean such arrangements can’t work for others. People can find meaning in all sorts of mysterious things, and I see no reason why an exclusively online relationship couldn’t give the participants everything they need to face their lives.
Is it the same? No, of course not. But it can be real all the same.
