I still haven’t seen Suicide Squad, let alone the Fantabulous Emancipation.
I love what DC is doing with their TV series… Doom Patrol, Titans, Swamp Thing, and (especially) the animated Harley Quinn are all somewhere between “above average” and “great”. They all take chances that Marvel’s pre-Disney+ shows —not including Noah Hawley’s genius take on Legion— wouldn’t even consider.
(FYI, I’m choosing to ignore the CWverse for the purposes of this ask. I’ve been done with that since S1 of Legends, although I might peek in again, post-Crisis.)
But the movies? Aquaman was solid and pretty, and made Dolph Lundgren look like an actual actor for the first time in his life… Joker at least tried something even if I didn’t appreciate it… and Zack Snyder’s Watchmen was his last bearable film. (I vote that we all collectively agree that Snyder left the movie business after Sucker Punch and forget the rest.) Everything else has been a mess.
I will get around to watching BoP, mind you. But I’m not optimistic, so I’m in no hurry.
