Is there such thing as a woman who wants an actual monogamous relationship? Seems like there’s always someone in the background no matter how much a woman shows she cares.

Of course there’s such a thing. Lots of women are unencumbered and looking for a sole, special person.
But I’ll grant you, girls often have ghosts that haunt them… hell, I’m just such a ghost to more than a few. (He’s a funny sort of specter to expect a large retainer, nothing plainer, he is clearly quite insane.) If someone’s memory is burned deeply enough into her brain, you probably won’t be the man to erase it. You can share space in there, but you won’t have it entirely to yourself.
Thing is, if you’re seeing a lot of those haunted girls, I suspect the problem isn’t with them… it’s you, and your targeting. You’re drawn to that type of chick, and you need to figure out why so you can correct your aim.
