So you’re at a bar/restaurant/whatever and someone buys you a drink…. How does one say thank you, that it’s appreciated but nothing is going to come out of it? I always feel so awkward about it. Thank you xx

Hm. I’m not sure… I’ve never even considered buying a drink for a stranger.

“Thank you, but I’m not feeling very social tonight” should be good enough. It probably isn’t because men are terrible, but it should be.
