Looks can get my attention when you’re new, and keep my attention when you’re annoying. They can be the flawed jewel in your broken little crown, but they’re not the crown itself… they’re decoration.
Would the crown be a bit bland without it? Probably. Would I be eager to upgrade it? Definitely. Would I replace it with a prettier one? Let’s not open doors we can’t close, baby.
I’m more attracted to instinctive obedience, bottomless depravity, and desperate, unrelenting devotion. Unless that fits your definition of “soul”, in which case, yes.
