Hello! how do you transition from not owning a girl to owning her? Is there a conversation that you have with each of them? How formal is it? Are there procedures? I’m very curious! Thank you if you reply!
- The only transition is my recognition… by the time I claim someone, she’s already belonged to me for a long time, and has simply been awaiting my acceptance.
- There are lots of conversations, but they happen earlier in the process. By the time I’m pulling the trigger, she should know the principles of my gospel by heart.
- I haven’t been that big on ceremony in the past, but the girls all want to bear their owner’s mark and display their kinship, so that’s a formality I’m exploring.
- The “procedure” is convincing me she knows her place… and more importantly, mine. It’s showing me she’s on my team, to the end and beyond. It’s proving she will always be my dog when I snap my fingers.
So, y’know… the usual.
