I was going through your audios on your website, and oh my god your story The Fixer is so hot. The accent, conversion therapy, everything made me so wet. As someone who has a hard time understanding her sexuality and gets off on that, well done 😵💫

I’m always a little surprised at how beloved The Fixer turned out to be. It’s really brief —it probably didn’t take more than a few hours to write— and it isn’t even about what it’s about… my focus was on the hateful parents rather than the conversion process.
(And for the record, the accent is the direct result of a House of Cards binge, so blame Kevin Spacey.)
I spent way, way more time on the unofficial sequel —Hunters Gathered— because I got caught up in the nuance of the language and the little bits of world-building. At some point I need to return to those three guys and their little kidnapping-to-slavery pipeline.
